I’m also lucky to be asked back to another great event – the Man O’War Summer Lunch on Waiheke. The annual event raises money for the Auckland Rescue Helicopter.
It’s a great day out in such an amazing part of the island that not many people get to see with food from a steller selection of chefs from some of Auckland’s best restaurants including Baduzzi and Masu. There’s nothing like relaxing in the sun with great food and wine and it’s all in the name charity!
This year I’m cooking (or bbqing I should say!) lamb and charred aubergine with peas and harissa and yogurt. It’s a great fresh and aromatic dish perfect for a lazy summer lunch.
